This is a bit of a change for me, this was all done in Illustrator CS2 using only the brush tool. I did not use the path tool on purpose just to see how it turned out..OK I think.

Thanks so much, you can't believe how difficult this was to do, painting with the pencil tool in Illustrator. I only did this and one other and I will probably never do another. :D

Sorry so late Brian! Been real busy with school and stuff...:(

I love this, the colors and the flows mix well together! The level of realism in this piece is outstanding. Awesome textures! Keep up the fantastic work Brian! :D

Thanks darling, if you don't have Adobe Illustrator, you can't work in vector, so it don't matter hun.

Don't forget there are other vector programs besides Illustrator, some of them free. I'm using the free Inkscape which is about as close to Illustrator as the GIMP is to Photoshop - so not the exact same but pretty close.

Yes there are a few vector programs around, I'm trying one called WouldjaDraw, it's nowhere as clever as Illustrator but is a lot easier to use. The trouble is with the cheaper vector programs it's not what the software does, but what it doesn't do. I've tried Inkscape which I believe is under constant development, I found the version I tried a bit flacky at times. Might have to have another look at it...Cheers Brian.
